MORAM Capital – Company Notes

MORAM Capital dedicates significant analytical resources to a focused universe of approximately 35 companies. That depth of coverage — built through consistent engagement with filings, operational data, management communications and industry developments — is what underpins the quality of everything we publish.

This section collects the output of that ongoing work: earnings commentary, numerical updates, corporate events and any development of material significance for the companies we cover. Every piece is written from our own independent perspective, with no obligation to consensus and no interest in publishing for the sake of it.

Company Notes is designed to be read alongside our Equity Research page, which remain the definitive home for each company’s full investment case, valuation framework, and the complete archive of everything we have published on it.

Equity Research is the thesis. Company Updates is the thesis in motion.

What we cover in Company Notes

  • Earnings Reviews When results are published, we go through the numbers that actually matter — segment performance, margin dynamics, cash generation, and the quality of guidance. We are not interested in headlines. We are interested in whether the business is tracking the way we expected, and what has changed if it isn’t.
  • Key Developments Contract wins, capital allocation decisions, M&A activity, financing announcements, regulatory shifts. When something material happens, we assess the incremental impact on the investment case directly — not in the abstract.
  • Operational Updates The KPIs that tell the real story beneath the reported figures: volumes, pricing, utilisation rates, backlog, order intake. These are the leading indicators that tend to move before consensus catches up.
  • Market Reaction & Positioning We are explicit about where we think the market is right, and where we think it is wrong. When a stock drops 8% on results we consider solid, we say so — and explain why.

How to use this section along with Equity Research

Each update is intentionally concise. Our goal is not to be comprehensive for its own sake — it is to isolate what is economically meaningful and connect it, where relevant, to valuation and expected returns.

For the full framework on any company — the original thesis, our financial model, historical coverage — go to the corresponding Equity Research page. Company Updates build on that foundation; they are not a substitute for it.

If you are following a name closely, this is where you will see our thinking evolve as new data comes in. If you are coming to a company fresh, start with Equity Research first.
